The reel
More than the finished product, it is the gesture that counts: the hands choosing, cutting and tying. On video it says far more than a still arrangement, and it is the content people watch to the end on social.

The project
Eli Flowers sells flowers, and flowers are the most photographed product in the world: a nice picture is no longer enough to stand out. She asked us for video content for Instagram, the channel where her audience actually buys.
Instead of the finished product we filmed the gesture: the hands choosing, cutting and tying. That is what separates a florist from a supermarket bunch, and on video it works far better than a static arrangement. Colour was kept faithful in post production, because on a flower the colour rendition is the product.
What we made
More than the finished product, it is the gesture that counts: the hands choosing, cutting and tying. On video it says far more than a still arrangement, and it is the content people watch to the end on social.
Go to InstagramFlowers are the most photographed subject in the world, so a nice photo is not enough. We looked for a recognisable signature, with bold backgrounds and careful composition, to break out of the usual bunch on a neutral background.

Colour kept faithful in post, because on a flower the colour is the product, and light used to give the arrangements air and depth.

Not only bunches, but the people and gestures around the flowers. These are the images that work best on the profile, because they show a story and not just a product.
