The project
Brief
Estelle is a hair and beauty salon. The work was there and so were the clients, but everything came through word of mouth: online there was almost nothing, and anyone searching for a hairdresser nearby would not find them. They asked for a website and ongoing social media management, which in their sector is where a person decides whether to walk in or walk past.
The challenges
- An online presence almost non existent compared to a well established business
- A sector where people buy with their eyes, so image quality is everything
- Content to be produced continuously, not once
- Filming in the salon without interrupting the work
The solution
The site tells the salon's story with its own photographs, not bought images: whoever arrives really sees the place they will walk into. The structure is simple, because most visits come from a phone and people just need to know where they are, what they do and how to book. On social we set up a regular production of content shot in the salon, with a light tone that works better than a glossy showcase. Consistency counts more than any single post: ten coherent pieces in a month are worth more than one perfect one.
