The project
Ferramenta Poletti is a long standing hardware store with a huge warehouse, but all that value was invisible: anyone looking for a supplier in the province of Cremona did not even know it existed. They asked us for a site that would say so, and we built it around what actually convinces a tradesperson to choose a supplier.
Instead of trying to list forty thousand items we highlighted the categories and the numbers that matter: fifty years in business, three generations, the warehouse. Those are the things that reassure a tradesperson choosing a supplier. Direct contact is on the first screen, because in this sector a phone call is still the fastest way to ask whether a part is in stock. The structure is built to be found by people searching for industrial supplies in the Cremona area.
What we made
A catalogue of forty thousand items cannot be listed. On the first screen we put the line that says it all, "your trusted hardware store since 1972", with the phone always within reach: in this sector a call is still the fastest way to ask whether a part is in stock.
